Pessac-Léognan 1er Cru

The nose is smoky black fruited and the palate sumptuous with ripe cassis, black cherry and plum. The mid palate has depth with the richness of prunes and dark chocolate the fleshiness backed by slightly fresher fruit and an attractive mineral streak. The finish has length depth of fruit with tobacco fragrances.

Château Yquem 2007

97 2014-38

Sauternes 1er Grand Cru

The nose is floral with behind the fragrances a complex mix of apricot and lime blended in with candied orange peel. It is rich, voluptuously lush orange marmalade but not over heavy as there is a racy lime freshness that lifts and brightens the fruit. Layers of flavour add to the complexity and this wonderful mix of different fruits is there on the long fragrant finish.
