90 2015-19

Sweet on the nose with ripe black fruits the palate has lots cassis and black cherry. Under the rich fruit there is freshness a lighter mid palate but at the back sweet ripe fruit enriches.

Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2013

91 2016-22

The nose has depth of flavour the palate starts with sweetness concentrated in the middle black cherry and cassis. The mix of flavours gives complexity a lovely balance with sweetness and freshness. Firm on the back palate but the finish is more open a greater depth of flavour.

Beaune 1er Cru Teurons 2013

91 2016-22

Light on the nose fresh red fruits both nose and the start of the palate have a fragrant charm. Sweet in the middle fleshy strawberry some mulberry although rich at the back the finish has freshness.

Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos Prieur 2013

93 2017-28

The nose is concentrated black fruited and the palate has power richness depth of flavour. It seems closed at the moment the back palate tight the fruit firm but there is enough underlying freshness to lighten the finish give elegance and length.

Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru 2013

95 2019-30

Fragrant fresh fruits the nose has a mix of redcurrant and bramble. Although light at the start there is more depth in the middle and although sweeter at the back the finish is quite light fresh fragrant and long.

Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru 2013

95 2019-30

Broad on the nose the palate has black fruited depth with brooding black cherry. There is mid sweetness quite supple ripe feeling tannins the black fruited power enriching the back palate and finish.

Le Chambertin Grand Cru 2013

96 2019-30

Power depth the nose is packed with rich black fruit the palate broad with concentrated flavours. Fine tannins help the mid richness black fruits mixed in with red fruits all feeling sweet fleshy black cherry and mulberry. Closed at the back at the moment an underlying freshness with lots more fruit to show.

Le Chambertin Grand Cru 2001

97 2014-20

Fragrant mature autumn leaves the nose has a mix of red and black fruits. There is mid sweetness supple a nice depth of flavour but it is lighter at the back the finish complex long with a leafy elegance.
